Today, we are going to introduce you to the latest skin treatment the Setiba Group is offering, and that is DermalInfusion. DermalInfusion is an all-around non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that involves exfoliation, extraction, and finally, infusion of the healthiest serums for your skin. What’s even great about is the fact that the procedure itself is easily customizable according to your skin’s needs.
But first, what is skin resurfacing?
Before we head on to the main treatment info, though, let us first talk about the basics and what the treatment primarily is. DermalInfusion is a skin resurfacing treatment—but what is that, exactly?
Well, skin resurfacing is a procedure done to resurface newer and more youthful skin underneath by removing or exfoliating the topmost layer of the skin. The topmost layer of the skin, after all, gets the most stress from everyday make-up application and pollution. Thus, this skin also harbors many issues and imperfections.
Underneath that layer of skin, though, is a healthier layer of skin which we seek to bring into surface, hence the term.
How does DermalInfusion work?
It is important to note that DermalInfusion goes beyond skin resurfacing. In fact, the procedure itself acts in three layers of treatment which all happen simultaneously! And this is all thanks to a special handheld device which performs all three, all at the same time.
Step #1: Exfoliation
The first step is exfoliation. The first part of the treatment starts with the removal of dry and damaged skin cells (which is what the topmost layer of the skin is made of, due to its daily exposure to skin hazards). Exfoliation is done through the handheld tool’s diamond treatment head. It is, in a way, similar to the tool used for microdermabrasion.
Step #2: Extraction
But beyond the exfoliation of microdermabrasion, DermalInfusion’s tool also has a pneumatic suction power which sucks out and extracts skin impurities, such as the dirt and oil clogging our pores, debris, makeup residue, and other impurities loosened up by the exfoliation.
Step #3: Infusion
Finally, here comes the special part of the entire treatment. Infusion. Which is when the healthiest skin serums are infused into our skin.
What sets DermalInfusion apart from other exfoliation and hydration skin treatments?
We know what you’re thinking: “What’s so special about DermalInfusion? There are a lot of other exfoliation and hydration procedures already, and they are equally as effective…right?”.
Actually, not quite. What’s special and what actually sets DermalInfusion apart from all the other exfoliation and hydration combo treatments out there is its “precision-timed” technology. Apparently, if the skin will have to wait for the exfoliation process to finish before infusing it with serums, the benefits of these serums are not maximized. On the other hand, since the DermalInfusion technology allows exfoliation, extraction, and infusion to happen simultaneously, the serum gets infused into the skin at the exact time of exfoliation which allows the serum to penetrate faster and deeper, maximizing its effects and benefits.
DermalInfusion is an easily customizable treatment.
Another factor which makes DermalInfusion unique is the fact that it is easily customizable according to patient’s skin. First, there are seven diamond tips available which caters to the most sensitive up to the toughest skin. How sensitive? DermalInfusion allows exfoliation even at the most sensitive parts of the most sensitive skin, which are the eyes and lip areas—parts of our face which cannot be previously exfoliated professionally due to how delicate the skin in these parts are.
Also, DermalInfusion comes with four specialized serums, all products of years of research by the world’s skin care experts. These are:
- Pore Clarifying
- Vitamin C
- Ultra Hydrating
- Skin Brightening
DermalInfusion is not for your face alone.
It is also important to note that DermalInfusion is not for the face alone. In fact, it is the first and only head-to-toe treatment that can address other problematic parts of the body such as sun damage and wrinkles on the neck, stretch marks plaguing your breasts and abdomen area, cellulites on your thighs, back acne, discoloration, skin dryness, and so much more!
In fact, it can even help in lymphatic drainage by rhythmic strokes which helps to free our body from harmful toxins.
What results can I expect?
You can expect visible results immediately after the treatment, which includes the following:
- You can see your skin volumized by up to 70%
- You will immediately notice your skin’s renewed radiance and glow
- And visible lightening of skin problems such as acne scars and fine lines.
What’s great about the treatment, though, is that the results don’t stop right after the treatment. In fact, since it allows cell regeneration, you can expect even more results days after the procedure. The DermalInfusion procedure is just the start of your treatment, and your skin will continue to repair and rid itself from its issues even after the procedure had long since finished!
Are there any side effects to this treatment?
Aside from the slight redness after the treatment itself (which only lasts for a few hours), this treatment has no other known side effects. It is completely safe.
How many sessions do I need?
Each patient has different needs and goals, hence it is really up to your skincare expert to determine how many sessions you would need in order to get the results you want. The average number of sessions, though, range from four to six treatments, done every other week.
How can I book for a treatment?
Because this treatment is customized according to the needs of each patient, you will be required to undergo an initial check-up first with one of the Setiba Group’s board certified skin care experts. But don’t worry, this initial consultation is on the house and absolutely free. All you need to do is to schedule your appointment through the website, or walk-in during our clinic’s office hours. Sundays are reserved for book appointments, though, so if you want to meet during a Sunday, you would really need to set an appointment beforehand.
We are looking forward to seeing you in our clinic. See you soon!
