No, this is not PRP. With Cellustrious® Hair Rejuvenation,™ microneedling is used to treat the areas of hair loss, in combination with a plant based biomedical growth factor serum.
Micro-fine needles graze over the skin creating many tiny pinpricks that the body recognizes as injury, and then begins producing collagen that your body stimulates through what is called a “perceived injury.” The chemical message to the body to repair the area is the same.
The Cellustrious® Hair Rejuvenation serum, produced in a laboratory culture, uses plant derived Bio-signal communications to trigger the follicles.
Most people experience redness similar to a sunburn, which lasts for 2 days, depending on the individual.
Most people describe it as a vibration sensation, and find the process not only tolerable, but comfortable. To ensure comfort, we use topical numbing cream.
