DERMAL INFUSION TREATMENT IN WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA
Dermal Infusion treatment is an advanced treatment. It combines exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of condition-specific serums to improve skin health, function and appearance.
In one treatment, Dermal Infusion can begin rejuvenating the skin. The resurfacing and cleansing process will reveal healthy skin, while the customized serums are infused into the skin to nourish and enhance the growth of new skin cells. The Dermal Infusion helps the skin become more hydrated and moisturized, acne scars will be gone or at least visibly reduced. Dermal Infusion also reduces and even eliminates wrinkles, fine lines, and other aging signs better than any other dermal procedure. By eliminating your skin’s dead cells layer, it lightens your complexion’s pigmentation. Other benefits include boosting the skin’s immunity, extracting toxins and unwanted debris from the skin, increasing elasticity and skin volume, restoring capillary flow, normalizing skin tone and reduce inflamed areas of skin, reducing enlarged blood vessels (telangiectasias) and restoring moisture and balance the skin’s oils.
The Dermal Infusion feels warm, comfy and massage-like. In certain areas such as the mouth and neck, you can feel the micro-currents more, sometimes the sensation is explained as a popping candy in the mouth, strange feeling, but not uncomfortable.
You will see immediate results right after the first Dermal Infusion. However, better effects and improvements can be seen after several treatments.
There is no down time with Dermal Infusion. You can go back to work right after the treatment. A SPF must be worn as the skin will be more sensitive to UV rays.

AFTERCARE
This is a non-invasive, no downtime treatment. You can resume normal activities immediately following your Dermal Infusion treatment. During your visit at Setiba Med Spa your skin care specialist will recommend personalized high-quality products to use at home to maintain and enhance your results. Your skin may be pink immediately following your treatment. Makeup may be applied following the treatment if desired.
1. Some patients may experience a mild redness immediately following their Dermal Infusion treatment. This is temporary and generally resolves within a few minutes up to several hours.
2. You may apply makeup immediately post treatment.
3. Avoid use of topical products containing AHAs, Retinols, Vitamin A, for three (3) days post treatment
4. No exfoliating for one week post treatment, as your skin has just received an exfoliation.
5. Your skin may feel slightly more sensitive to your skin care products, as the superficial layer of dead skin has just been removed through exfoliation. This is usually very tolerable and requires no special care. However, if a product feels too sensitive, discontinue use for a few days.
6. You could experience a breakout following your Dermal Infusion treatment as the skin is purged from impurities. This will resolve on it’s own, and often becomes less apparent with regularly scheduled Dermal Infusion treatment.
