Treatments with ADVATx are comfortable, with side effects usually only limited to mild swelling and redness. Significant changes in the skin can occur with each treatment.

ADVATx utilizes two different wavelengths to treat various skin conditions:

There is little to no discomfort.
You will experience mild redness and perhaps a little swelling for 2—4 hours.
With most vascular treatments you will see a change within the first 24 hours, but multiple treatments are required for optimal results. Acne and scar treatments require multiple treatments for optimal results.
The Advalight laser treatments are quite gentle and cover such a wide variety of skin problems that you are most likely a great candidate if you deal with any of the above-listed indications throughout the article. Another great part about these procedures is that because of how gentle they are, they can be done on almost any age group that may want or need the treatment done.

AFTERCARE
• No strenuous exercises for 24 hours after treatment
• Do not use AHA’s, BHA’s or Retinol’s or Renova for 72 hours after treatment
• Avoid direct sunlight for 72 hours safter treatment. When exposed to sun, wear a widebrim hat and SPF 30 or greater
• Wash your face morning and night with a gentle cleanser
• Continue use of vitamins, treatment products, hydrators, and sunscreen unless directed
otherwise
• If redness or sensitivity occurs, wash your face and apply a cool compress for ice back. If
sensitivity continues for more than 12 hours, please consult your skin care professional
• If you are prone to oral herpes, the treatment you received may cause a breakout. Ask your
Doctor for a treatment such as Valtrex
• Do not peel or pick at crusting skin. This will cause scarring or discoloration to the
treatment area
• Keep skin will-hydrated with appropriate moisturizer
